Memories of Nature at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art

An exhibition featuring a selection of landscape works by Adham Zargham, titled "Memories of Nature," will open on Wednesday, May 15th, at 5 PM across three galleries at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. The exhibition will showcase over 125 pieces and will continue until July 1st.

Adham Zargham is one of those painters who uses nature as a means to explore the realm of meaning. While he often immerses himself directly in nature to converse with it and the universe, drawing on both the physical and metaphysical attributes derived from this dialogue and revelation to guide his artistic creation, his works clearly blend imagination and reality. His direct and unmediated presence in nature does not confine him to the mere appearances of natural elements.

In his engagement with nature and his artistic life, Zargham follows a path filled with love and mysticism. His representation of his surroundings has evolved through different phases of his career, moving along a meaningful path—calm but purposeful, inquisitive, and continuous. Today, we encounter an artist who expresses his vast and passionate perception of the world through small painting canvases, revealing his boundless understanding.
